Funds are used to cover study expenses such as hyperbaric oxygen therapy, diagnostic and neuropsychological testing, transportation and housing. IHMF is the sponsor of the National Brain Injury Rescue & Rehabilitation program. The first study is NBIRR-01, WIRB® Protocol #20090761, "a Multicenter Observational Study of Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy (HBOT) in Chronic Traumatic Brain Injury (TBI)/Post-Concussion Syndrome (PCS) and TBI/Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD)." The study is registered at www.clinicaltrials.gov. | | General Donations | | Used to advance the science and availability of hyperbaric oxygen therapy. They help pay for treatment for persons who cannot afford hyperbaric therapy, help with patient expenses or cover research expenses. They also help with the Patient's Legal Defense Fund so that the Foundation can support patient access and reimbursement.
