2 ANAM Test Scores

Two Concussed Airman Repaired with Harch HBOT 1.5 Protocol
TRICARE does not pay despite remarkable recovery.

The 2 airmen were sitting side by side in a moving truck when struck by an IED in Iraq. Both had their bell rung but no loss of consciousness.

About three weeks later they developed headaches, sleep disturbances, irritability, forgetfulness and the perception of cognitive problems.  Fortunately they had ANAM on arrival before the blast.  Their military physician encountered them 6 months later when they were back in station.  Neither had had TBI diagnosed and they had been given headache pills with the suggestion they might have PTSD, though no one else was injured in the event and neither airman had the hallmark symptoms of PTSD.

Repeat ANAM testing post HBOT 1.5 showed a remarkable change (middle numbers of the graph which is expressed in percentiles).  They both received 40 HBOT (paid by TriCare we think)(Note: TRICARE LATER DENIED PAYMENT), Harch protocol.  After the 5th or 6th dive their symptoms were much improved, headaches nearly gone, and feeling better, though not 100%.  Airman C, the lesser injured has recovered completely symptomatically; airman B will get some more HBOT after the neuropsychologist evaluates him.  Both airmen had an extensive battery of neuropsych tests which showed mild TBI, and no PTSD.
